From time to time we conduct competitions, prize draws and other promotional activities to promote our retirement living communities, including at expos, events and through our websites. This clause applies in addition to the other sections of this Privacy Policy.
When you enter one of our promotions, we collect the personal information you provide through the entry or registration form, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, postcode and any other details requested on the form. This information may be collected by us directly, or on our behalf by our appointed sales and marketing agent. Where information is collected on our behalf by an agent, that agent is identified at the point of collection
We use the personal information collected through a promotion to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, conduct the draw, notify and publicise the winner, award and deliver the prize, and for the purposes set out in section 3 of this Privacy Policy.
Entering a promotion does not require to consent to receiving marketing communications. However, at the time of entry you will be given the option to separately consent to us and our appointed agents contacting you with marketing and promotional material about Salus Mingara and our other retirement living communities. This may include information about the project, sales releases, pricing, events, display suite openings and related opportunities, sent by email, SMS, telephone or post. This consent continues until you withdraw it. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe function in any electronic message or by contacting us using the details in section 9. Where you provide a telephone number and separately consent to telephone marketing, you consent to us contacting you on that number in relation to our communities, including where that number is listed on the Do Not Call Register, until you tell us otherwise. This consent is separate from any other marketing consent you provide and continues until you tell us otherwise by contacting us using in the details in section 9.
Information collected through a promotion may be disclosed to the parties set out in section 4 of this Privacy Policy, and additionally to the promoter of the relevant promotion, our appointed sales and marketing agent, and the supplier of the prize where this is necessary to deliver the prize to the winner. Where a promotion requires an authority or notification under the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW), we may also be required to disclose information to NSW Fair Trading.
Where a promotion involves a draw, we may publish the winner's first name, surname initial and suburb as required by the terms and conditions of that promotion and by applicable law.
We retain the personal information of all entrants, including entrants who are not selected as the winner, for the purposes set out in section 3 and this clause 11, until you opt out or ask us to remove your information. Records relating to the conduct of a promotion are retained for as long as required to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Each promotion is conducted under its own terms and conditions, which are made available at the time of entry. If there is any inconsistency between those terms and this Privacy Policy in relation to the handling of personal information, this Privacy Policy prevails.
You are not required to provide your personal information to us. If you choose not to provide the information requested on the entry form, we may not be able to enter you into the promotion.
